Postscript I Accomodate, Therefore I Am

真知生于民间，百姓日用而不觉。一个理论往往首先诞生于实践。之后由于时代局限，任何理论都有可能走向僵化。历史上神学、哲学、科学等大多如此。
Truth comes from common people, who use it everyday without notice. A theory often comes from practice. Due to the limitation of the age, any theory may go rigid. Most theologies, philosophies and sciences in history are like this.
为使“应用哲学大平衡”不致僵化、教条贻误后人。自本文面世之日起，我们将每年开展以“跨入哲学门、同著一部书、仁爱满天下”为主题的：“大公民谱写大平衡”活动。具体办法如下：
In order to avoid “the applied philosophy of big balance” going rigid and being mistaken by the latecomers, we will hold an annual activity entitled “big citizen writing big balance”. Its theme is “stepping in the gate of philosophy, together writing a book and spreading benevolence all over the world”. Details are as follows:
一、主办单位：美国胡锦涛哲学思想研究会等。协办单位另行报告。
I. Sponsors: America Hu Jingtao Philosophy Research Institute and others. Co-sponsors will be forwarded later.
二、参加人员：任何一位对“大平衡”有兴趣的同仁。
II. Participants: Anyone who is interested in “big balance”.
三、参与方式：对《大平衡》的篇章结构、字句内容等，提出增删、修改、补充意见。将您的建议、意见（本国文字、英文、中文）通过E-mail发至：pinghenglun@sohu.com 是否允许改动请注明。将您的帐号、国籍、姓名、E-mail和1寸彩照也一并发出，以备出版联络、功昭后人。
III. Ways of participation: Raise suggestions of emendation, revise and supplement on the structure, wording and content of the book Big Balance. Your suggestions (in native language, English or Chinese) can be sent to： pinghenglun @sohu.com. Please indicate whether it can be revised or not. Please also include your account number, nationality, name, E-mail address and standard color photo for the purpose of publication and contact.
四、您的建议、意见力求通俗易懂，每稿一般不超90字。一人可多稿。一经采用即付稿酬1元/字人民币，并适时赠送当年新书一本。
IV. Your suggestion shall be easy to understand and no more than 90 words. One can send more than one suggestion. If your suggestion is accepted, one yuan for each word will be paid and a new book of the year will be sent to you.
五、每年圣诞节前适时召开一次年度会议，适时向各国领导人赠书。
V. An annual meeting will be held some time before Christmas and books will be sent to leaders of different countries.
其实，人人都是哲学家。让我们满怀慈爱：不分民族国别，不分尊卑贵贱，不分男女老幼，不论篇章字句，共同谱写新世纪的新文明！
In fact, everyone is a philosopher. Let’s cherish full love and jointly compose the new civilization of the new century despite of nation or nationality, being noble or humble, man or woman, young or old.
